Christchurch Music Centre is a volunteer led organisation that has, for more than three decades, supported the musical ambitions of many young people in the local area.

The aims of the group are to:

• Inspire and encourage the talents of young people to make music
• Offer opportunities to perform to the public at a variety of venues
• Provide an enjoyable, friendly, and learning environment to enable musicians to develop their talents
• Support musicians of all ages and abilities
• Play a variety of music types, from traditional to modern, from classical to pop
• and, above all, to have Fun!

At present we run two wind bands and a Percussion Ensemble:

• Junior Wind Band (up to grade 3)
• Senior Wind Band (grade 4+)
